on the Effectiveness of EAP
In collaboration with Goethe University Frankfurt, Zieringer GmbH has published a scientific paper in the prestigious Journal of Occupational Health Psychology
Over a period of six months, the study examined the impact on employee productivity for those who utilized the service—yielding clear results: After just four weeks, and even more so after six months, EAP users showed a significant improvement in work-related productivity compared to a control group without counseling support.
Companies were able to realize substantial financial benefits due to the increased productivity of their employees.
The work performance of employees who used the EAP increased, on average, by 8 percent more than that of employees without support. For each employee utilizing the EAP, this translated into an additional annual productivity gain worth 14,000 euros.
The study underwent multiple "peer reviews" over the course of a year, meaning it was evaluated by independent experts and confirmed as accurate, underscoring the quality and integrity of the research findings.
Zieringer GmbH is pleased to have contributed to demonstrating the value of EAPs through this study and hopes it encourages more companies to offer their employees support in the form of an EAP.
